The wait is finally over... BF2 v1.5 is now available here

If anyone has any helpful tips/tricks for install they would be much appreciated. Can i run this from clean install off disks and update every thing at once? or do i need to do the install order from before with 1.5 as last patch?

instail as normal for pre-1.5 then install the full 1.5 patch...that should give all the boosters and the new map Operation Blue Pearl

BTW If you do a fresh install of BF2 Vanilla and Special Forces from original disks you MUST install the 1.41 patch before installing the 1.5 patch. They added a folder or something in 1.41 that wasn't in the original install. Program will start, go black screen, and CTD because it can't find a certain directory.

This does not affect existing 1.41 installations.

no need to install SF, least i never did, just install BF2 from disk, update to 1.41, then run the 1.5 patch, 1.5 gives you everything that is not included in vanilla BF2.
