JOINING CLAN HOOD
Are you a gamer? Hardcore or weekend warrior? Or maybe you would just like to be a member of a great community of people. Do you enjoy playing with friends and having a place to call home? Maybe HOOD is for you! Clan HOOD has always, from day one, been about online relationships. We have been around for over 15 years. What makes us such a successful online gaming community is our members. We have recently started a new policy for recruitment, and you have been choosen to join. Anyone 18 years or older who would like to become a member in Clan HOOD is welcome. Each new recruit will be required to post 100 posts in our forum community before he or she becomes a full fledged member. Below are the guidelines and requirments we wish for our members to follow. So why not join up today and see how it goes!
OFFICIAL HOOD GUIDELINES
YOU CAN:
- Be a part of another clan. We do not expect our members to be commited to one community only, but please leave any other communities drama out of our realm.
- Be absent for large amounts of time. We understand the life is full of suprises. Once your a full fledged HOOD member you are HOOD for life.
- Invite your friend and familiy to become members.
- Be a forum whore to an extent. There are some forums better off staying organized. Please keep your forum whore posting in the general sections as much as possible or they may be removed.
YOU CAN NOT:
- Play in any HOOD server or HOOD related event without your HOOD tag on. Being in multiple clans is encouraged and ok, however when you are representing HOOD, wether in our servers or at an event on another server, we expect you to wear your tag proudly.
- Wear a different tag other than HOOD on your Steam and Xfire account. Being a part of this community requires you to stay in touch with our members, and wearing your tag for this communication system is imperative.
- Use exessive vulgar, racial, sexual or otherwise demeening conduct in any form. If you are asked to refrain from certian actions by higher ranking member. please do so immediatly or you will be removed.
OTHER GUIDELINES
- You must be 18 years or older unless you are recruited by a current HOOD Administrator or Council member. All other applicants will be demoted to guest.
- Our requests are simple, and from time to time a high ranking member may add or edit or request members adjust thier actions accordingly. Members are expect to follow the advice of thier supieror ranks. Failure to do so could result in removal.
- Though you may make it through the 100th post recruitment process and you are a HOOD for life, higher ranking members do have the right to de-activate your account and membership upon non-complaince and failure to adhere to thier requests. This could be temporary or permantent and will be decided upon on an induvudual basis.
HOOD RANKINGS
HOOD ADMINISTRATOR
The HOOD Administrator is here to guide the council members and to resolve any issues that may be pending, or descisions that must be made by a single person. The Administrator may make desicions with or without the approval of the HOOD Council, but shall always use that in a last resort or in an emergency type situation. Only one HOOD Administrator shall in this group, however, upon resignation or long periods of inactivity may appoint a permanent or temporary replacement.
HOOD COUNCIL MEMBER
Normal members of Clan HOOD. Member status can be requested after a recruit has posted thier 100th post in our community forums, or by appointment from a HOOD Console Member or Administrator. There is no limit to how many HOOD members are in this group. You can request to become a full fledged member by joining the HOOD MEMBER group in your usergroup profile here.
HOOD MEMBER
Normal members of Clan HOOD. Member status can be achieved automatically after a recruit has posted thier 100th post in our community forums, or by appointment from a HOOD Console Member or Administrator. There is no limit to how many HOOD members are in this group.
HOOD RECRUIT
New members of the clan. Anyone may become a recruit by following the steps and guidlines posted on our join page located here. Recruits will become full fledge members by request after thier 100th post on our community forums, or if a member of the HOOD Console promotes you mannually. You can request to become a recruit by joining the HOOD RECRUIT group in your usergroup profile here.
REQUIREMENTS
- You must have a registered account on our website. Click here to login or here to register.
- You must apply the official HOOD tag in front of your user disaplay name. Example: [HOOD]-YourName. You can edit your user display name in your Profile Settings.
- You must also have a valid X-Fire account site listed within your profile, as well as applied for our Xfire online community located here. You can find information concerning X-Fire on this page. You must apply the official HOOD tag in front of your nickname which can be changed in your X-Fire profile. Example: [HOOD]-YourName.
STEPS ON HOW TO JOIN
Step 1: Go to your user account settings page.
Step 2: Add [HOOD]- to the begining of your display name.
Step 3: Go to your User Group settings and request to join the HOOD RECRUIT group.
Step 4: Scroll to the bottom and click on SUBMIT.
Step 5: Head over to the New Recruit Intoductions forum and introduce yourself.
Note: If you do not meet the requirements as a recruit you will be removed. Please be sure you have read the requitments and fullfilled them.
